About This Role
We are seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support finance processes within the Accounting Operations Reconciliation team. This role will focus on providing expertise in book close activities, financial reporting, and analytical support to ensure accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency across accounting operations.
What You Will Work On
  • Operational Support: Provide expert guidance and hands-on support for accounting and reconciliation processes within the Accounting Ops Recon team.
  • Book Close: Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare, review, and validate financial reports, providing insights and variance analysis as needed.
  • Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to align accounting processes with reporting and compliance requirements.
  • Process Improvements: Identify opportunities to enhance reconciliation, reporting, and close processes, ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
What You Will Bring
  • 7+ years of accounting or finance operations experience, ideally within insurance or financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of financial close, reconciliation, and reporting processes.
  • Experience working in a project or transformation environment preferred.
  • Proficiency with accounting systems and reconciliation tools.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to partner across operations, finance, and project teams.
