About This Role
RGP is seeking a Senior IT Auditor to support a global internal audit engagement for a multinational organization. This role will focus on evaluating IT General Controls (ITGC), assessing technology governance, and identifying potential control gaps related to system access, data protection, and operational processes.

This is a 5-6 week project requiring at least 3 weeks onsite in Argentina.

Local (Argentina) candidates preferred, but open to any professional available to travel and remain on-site in Argentina for the project duration.
What You Will Work On
IT Control Assessment 
  • Evaluate IT General Controls, including access management, password security, data storage, backup procedures, and data privacy practices. 
  • Assess the design and operational effectiveness of IT controls. 
Audit Testing & Walkthroughs 
  • Perform walkthroughs with process owners and IT stakeholders to understand system processes and controls. 
  • Conduct detailed audit testing procedures and document results. 
Risk Identification & Recommendations 
  • Identify control deficiencies and operational risks. 
  • Develop actionable recommendations and remediation plans where control weaknesses are identified. 
Audit Reporting & Governance 
  • Communicate audit findings and recommendations to the Audit Manager and leadership teams. 
  • Ensure compliance with the organization’s internal audit standards and methodologies. 
  • Monitor implementation of previous audit recommendations. 
  • The consultant will work closely with internal audit teams and technology stakeholders to assess the effectiveness of IT controls and support risk mitigation strategies across international operations.
What You Will Bring
  • 12-15 years of professional experience in IT Audit 
  • At least 8 years of experience testing IT General Controls 
  • Experience working with multinational organizations 
  • Exposure to co-sourced audit environments or global audit teams
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in fast-paced environments
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of IT General Controls (ITGC) 
  • Basic understanding of application controls 
  • Knowledge of technology environments and business processes 
  • Experience performing control testing and documenting audit findings
