About This Role

This role will manage end-to-end integration process and activities for Sourcing and Finance teams from initial development of integration plans with milestones and timelines, to execution of the tactical plans, to providing a clear roadmap for ongoing ownership to complete the integration. The successful candidate needs to have previous successful finance integration experience integrating acquired company Sourcing/P2P operations into acquiror processes.

The candidate will work as a member of the global Finance Integration Management Office, integrating the acquired entities for all global entities working collaboratively with Finance teams (Tax, Treasury, Accounting, FP&A, etc.) and outside of Finance (Corp Dev, Legal, HR, etc.). The candidate will lead regular finance integration meetings for Finance leaders and local Sourcing teams, including acquired entity finance leadership responsible for execution of the program to ensure effective communication and coordination.

The successful candidate will also contribute to the foundation for institutional knowledge and scalability of M&A through the development of the M&A Sourcing Integration Playbook. They will support system implementations (including design & process improvements) and support user acceptance testing for key financial areas like revenue operations, Sourcing, Accounts Payable. This candidate will build and develop Sourcing’s M&A Integration approach, partnering with leaders and SMEs across the organization to drive execution and efficiency and also develop repeatable processes that accelerate integrations and identify improvements in acquisition integration processes/techniques and implement best practice methodologies. They will be responsible for providing periodic project updates to Visa senior management acquisition integration project updates. This position will report to the Sr. Director Global Sourcing Center of Excellence.



What You Will Work On
  • Develop, lead, and deliver strategic initiatives and projects to drive best practices which act to strengthen our relationships with the business, operating model, procurement/sourcing capabilities and overall ways of working.
  • Experience leading end to end projects for financial and procurement areas.
  • Work closely with the Europe Sourcing Leadership Team and the Global Sourcing community and interact with key stakeholders and functional departments.
  • Continuously identify and drive improvements of existing processes, procedures, and technologies.
  • Align the strategy and plans and report to the Europe Sourcing Leadership Team.
  • We are aiming to move fast, and the environment is dynamic thus there are likely to be changes in responsibilities and priorities, so we expect you to be flexible adjusting to new activities, i.e. it is very similar to working in management consulting or a transformation office.
What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred; Professional accreditation in sourcing, procurement or purchasing a plus.
  • 6+ years of progressively responsible experience as a sourcing and/or procurement professional, preferably with a major financial institution or payment card company.
  • Proven experience as a project manager for multinational companies.
  • Business experience of end-to-end Source to Pay (S2P) process, including Category Management, Sourcing, Governance, Supplier/Vendor Management, Procurement Operations, Purchasing Policy, P2P processes, Systems.
  • Proven track record in M&A integration either within a publicly traded company or a top tier strategy or operations consulting.
  • Thought leadership in M&A integration and ability to influence and push back with Stakeholders and Senior Business leaders to drive Integration agenda.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple acquisitions simultaneously, executing against both individually as well as broader strategic initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive effective integration planning, communications and change management.
  • Strong analytical, strategic and innovative thinker with creative problem-solving skills.
  • A demonstrated track record of successful cross-functional collaboration and relationship building. 
  • Good organization to lead multiple projects at the same time.
  • Advanced project management skills (certifications a plus), the ability to track and manage complex processes and programs and a desire to lead teams and projects.
