About This Role
As a Gas and Power Accounting Consultant, you will support the Gas and Power division with the end to end financial accounting process. This is an onsite role requiring 5 days onsite per week in the Houston, TX area.
What You Will Work On
  • Support month-end close process, including journal entries, financial reporting and variance analysis for power accounting business.
  • Ensure appropriate accounting treatment in accordance with US GAAP
  • Support in the preparation and analysis of monthly and quarterly reports, as well as the review of policies and procedures to ensure SOX compliance, etc.
  • Help identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements
What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field required
  • 2-5+ years of related experience
  • Previous experience with Gas and Power financial accounting
  • Knowledge of US GAAP
  • Experience with SAP and Allegro required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills, with a strong orientation to client service, time management, and project delivery
