About This Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accounting Professional with expertise in US GAAP reporting, Statutory reporting, and SEC Reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in P&C Insurance accounting and financial reporting, along with extensive experience in statutory accounting, particularly with yellow book standards. This role involves the preparation, review, and analysis of statutory filings, supplemental reports, and quarterly filings.

This is a remote, W2, project-based role through RGP. 
What You Will Work On
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with US GAAP standards.
  • Manage the preparation, review, and submission of statutory filings, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for reporting purposes.
  • Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations, including updates to US GAAP, statutory reporting requirements, and SEC regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of SEC filings, including 10-Ks, 10-Qs, and other periodic reports.
  • Participate in internal and external audits, providing support and documentation as needed.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 
  • Experience in accounting and financial reporting, with a focus on P&C Insurance.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, and statutory accounting principles.
  • Experience with yellow book standards for statutory reporting.
