About This Role
As a consultant, will support the client as operations / project leader to work with the LATAM Payroll team supporting the execution of payroll operations, the implementation of projects and process improvement initiatives, and helping to implement processes for new entities. The consultant will help to design and implement operations, drive continuous improvement efforts through collaboration with the regional and global Payroll leaders, as well as Human Resources, Accounting, Treasury, Employment Tax and other teams. Also will deal with many different cultures, processes, and regulations in a region with strong diversity that comprises 6 countries today, while operating with a strong sense of teamwork, cross-functional collaboration, and focus on internal and external customers.
What You Will Work On
Support, or provide subject matter expertise, and/or local stakeholder coordination on projects. These could consist of Payroll process improvements or might involve the introduction of regulatory changes, new compensation programs, new countries, new entities, additions or modifications to benefits, perks, and incentive schemes, which need to be operationalized. 
- Support the payroll operational processes for Latin America, which currently consists of paying employees accurately and on-time, meeting all compliance obligations, and employee queries. Potentially working with the payroll providers for the region. 
-Partner with key stakeholders to evaluate, research, suggest, and implement process improvement opportunities to drive efficiencies and/or regulatory changes. 
- Performing variance analysis to support payroll initiatives, reviewing root cause analyses to discuss any future plans/ timelines/pending changes in processes or programs. - Help with metrics and analytical insights to measure process effectiveness across multiple dimensions and support International Payroll’s reporting requirements.
What You Will Bring
- BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Process Engineering or equivalent practical experience. 
- Fluency in English. 
- 4 to 7 years of experience in Payroll Operations, Finance Operations, or HR Operations. 
- Process and/or project management skills 
- Strong analytical skills 
Preferred qualifications: - Experience and a proven track record of process improvement and/or Six Sigma 
- Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills 
- Hands-on project management experience and meticulous attention to detail 
- Ability to work collaboratively, be diplomatic and influence stakeholders, vendors and international teams 
- Experience or exposure with Accounting, Finance, Tax, and or Risk/Compliance principles
